Parke Trails Alliance (PTA) is a non-profit organization promoting recreational trails in Parke County and West Central Indiana as they relate to tourism, economic development and public health. Formerly known as the Covered Bridge Gateway Trails Association, we are now doing business as the Parke Trails Alliance. Check out our Facebook page!
"The Mission of the Parke Trails Alliance is to develop, build, and maintain recreational trails in Parke County."
What's next for the Parke Trails Alliance?
The Parke Trails Alliance was an applicant for the Next Level Trails Grant. The PTA was awarded $5 million through the NLT grant and construction of the recreational trail from Rockville to Rosedale, Indiana will continue. This grant will also support other trail maintenance projects throughout Parke County. We are looking forward to build and strengthen the community in Parke County.
We are asking for four-year commitments to support the PTA's effort towards the NLT grant from the Indiana Department of Natural Resources. Every commitment and donation counts and we thank you for your continued support to the Parke Trails Alliance. For more information about the Next Level Trails grant, please visit: www.in.gov/dnr
